June 8th, 2010 (get tickets to my movie this weekend!)

So for many of you, this is your first kygest. For EVERYONE ELSE, it's been over a year since you got one (oops!). So WHAT the heck is a kygest? it's an irregularly scheduled email newsletter that is teeming with ky-news. News that is kyle-related.

Big things have been happening in 2010! This weekend is my feature-film debut with COLIN HEARTS KAY in Brooklyn and San Francisco (which you should get tickets to!). I have filmed 7 short films already this year (with more to come). And I am freelancing with a legit agent (Jenevieve Brewer from AboutFace).

So far in 2010, I have played 2 superheroes, 2 socially-inept guys, 2 dudes with girl problems, and 1 guy with a fauxhawk. I hope you will get the chance to watch them all, but for now I will just have to tease you by saying I have filmed them.

(I need a vacation)

COLIN HEARTS KAY

Who's that bearded fellow? why it's me!

COLIN HEARTS KAY is the story of Brooklyn cartoonist Colin trying to win back his long-term girlfriend Kay, pulling out all of the stops, including dragging her into the animated world of his cartoons. This microbudget gem seeks to answer the age old question: what is love?

I play Barry, Colin's best-bud. Barry is a bearded, bachanalian bro who only lives for two things: BEER and BABES!

It's a really fun movie, and since I am in a handful of scenes, you should totally go see it! If you come to the Brooklyn screening, I will be there and we can get food and drinks afterwards! If you are going to the San Francisco screening, my mom will be there (she will be the one wearing the MOM HEARTS KYLE shirt)
